PMA-CPT Exam
For the first time Italy will host the certification exam of the Pilates Method Alliance, the international, not–for–profit, professional association dedicated to the teachings of Joseph H. and Clara Pilates. PMA's mission is to foster community, integrity, and respect for diversity; establish certification and continuing education standards; and promote the Pilates method of exercise. The PMA Certified exam will be held in English and Spanish on Friday 28th at 3 pm.
To sit for the examination a candidate must have education and or experience in the field of Pilates, meeting one of the following two eligibility options:
450 Documented hours of training in a Pilates teacher training program,
or
720 hours of full-time employment as a Pilates teacher within the last twelve (12) month period.
The certification examination consists of 150 multiple-choice questions.
